Sep. 5th, 2010 12:07 amI Can't Believe It's Not WorldCon kicked off well with a perfectly sized attendance for the venue (i.e. there were enough chairs). FGoH (Furry Guest of Honour) Pumpkin proved that he really does exist IRL and circulated with flair. He allowed himself to be handled by strangers which is all we ask of any GoH.

Aug. 27th, 2010 10:21 pmDo you know what Worldcon is? Are you in Perth and not going? Are you a friend of mine or person with whom I might feel some sympathy because you're not going? Are you disappointed, poor, disorganised, pregnant, ill, over-committed, not that committed to fandom, or generally afraid of the state of Victoria? Does the idea of thousands of fen in one place make you want to hyperventilate*?
