With coffee assist I managed a four hour work session this morning. With the cooler weather and the need for exercise I also went to the zoo for about an hour and a half. I think I earned my emergency face-down starfish nap this afternoon. Life is looking up :-)
I had two fixed appointments for today: tax at H&R block at 10:30 that rendered me unable to attend a zoo gathering that morning, and my regularly scheduled massage at 4:30pm. In between I thought I'd potter about the house and garden, there being no shortage of things to do.
I find myself in that most fortunate of states, to be falling behind in blogging duties due to real life fulfillment. Here's a possibly brief rundown of my last two days in the sun. I like sun. Particularly when it's not hot.
Picked up the pace a bit more today, although I'm starting to pay for the caffeine component of 1.2l of coke (oops). Unlike yesterday I was able to hold my arm up to block the sun, so I perhaps carried that concept to extremes.
Up early again this morning and made an effort to do some work but was distracted by unscheduled cat vomit and laundry. I then realised that the sun was shining, so sacrificed a narrow window of opportunity to visit emma_in_oz in order to get myself to the zoo and stretch my legs. Sorry Em!
Made my way to the zoo again today for a walk and some furry action. I find myself motivated by many things, amongst them the desire to make the most of the winter sun. That's three trips now (and a 10% discount on a red panda puppet), so I've made back the cost of my Zoo Friend membership. The rest is gravy :-)
Was comparatively physically OK again today, albeit brainless. Went to the folks to collect some ex-lounge carpet to cover up the tiles here, then on to the zoo for a walk and to work on getting my Zoo Friend's money's worth.
