Wildlife: Fishies

The fish are quite thoroughly domesticatd life actually, and amazingly tame to boot. For those who came in late, these are mostly minnows, with three Western Pygmy Perch. One picture shows them happily swimming around my hand, the rest are crowd scenes.
They nibble the hand that feeds them:

It tickles :-)
The minnows usually move too fast for me to ever see them with flexed spines:

The thing that looks like coral? It's coral.

The big reflective thing with a straight edge is a pearl shell.

Yes, I built a playground for my fish.

I am a bit concerned about Peggy - she's now much bigger than the others and has a modified profile - she has a hump a bit like a snapper. She's also possibly lost some scales on the top of her head. I fear she may be going the way of Bob before too long :-( . I don't know how long they are supposed to live, but she has certainly reached the maximum length of about 6cm.
