Pretty rocks of the day: Opals

Opal-bearing rock. The biggest piece came from Cooper Pedy, brought home by Mum. That gives me an idea for my next post :-)

We spent part of our last day in Adelaide in the museum - they have an amazing collection of rocks and minerals, which made me think of you. They had one display arranged in colour from white, through the spectrum to black, which was very pretty.
