This one's all about the pictures. OK, maybe a few words here and there :-)



Opal chips. This was my grandmother's brooch.



Opal triplets. Thin slices of opal in magnifying resin.











Opal-bearing rock. The biggest piece came from Cooper Pedy, brought home by Mum. That gives me an idea for my next post :-)
