stephbg | Still on my feet

Had a quite interesting day today, which ironically has left me without enough oomph to blog properly. But in a good way. I'm tired, but normal, rational, sleep-will-set-me-free-type tired

* Had e-mail exchange with Sue Dengate (the mother of the beige diet)

* I have acquired a new client. Or she has acquired me :-) Many thoughts to follow once I establish her level of comfort and confidentiality.

* Received a request to provide a reference for a former minion.

* Practised my tech writer talk(s) for next week. Am really looking forward to it, and feel that my diction is improved now my face and tongue aren't so puffy.

* Bought a couple of cheap housecoats from Target, for internal use only. Perhaps I can set them on fire to stay warm. I didn't realise until I got home that the bright red fleece trenchcoat thing came complete with a hood. I call it my Cinderella outfit.

* Unfortunately I couldn't make it to the femmeconne meeting tonight, but really hope to make it to see
