Hairing off

Have returned from a trip to the hairdresser to lighten my load. Yes, the days of "just growing it" came to an end when I realised it felt heavy *all* the time. Not so different really, overall length kept, just shaped and layered. My braids will be wispy again.

Husband has been instructed to greet me with the following words: "You've done something to your hair! It looks great!" They can be trained you know.

Misc shopping

I was in Big-W today and was almost tempted to shell out $5.87 for a DVD copy of Catwoman just for the pleasure of destroying it in some unspecified fashion. But that would be Wrong. I did get a copy of Eight Legged Freaks, a horror/comedy film I recall with much affection, so it will be interesting to see how my memory of it holds up. I would have bought it weeks ago when I found it whilst trawling in the cheap bins, but I had it mixed up with Arachnophobia and passed it by, only later realising which was which. I wasn't keen enough to try and retrace my steps. But there it was today, in clear view and only $5.87. Mine.
