The waters have broken

Trying to feel if my sunburn was blistering, I discovered that it was one big blister which has now burst. A startling amount of fluid came out, and of course there's been peeling stage 1. Wish me strength for the drying, cracking and itchy phases! Am-o-lin baby nappy rash cream is my friend.

Have just returned from a perhaps slightly mismanaged walk to the shops to post a letter. It's still pretty hot out there and I'm nursing a flare. Still, walk good. Mostly.

Star Trek (2009) (and Happy Meme Day #7)

I am now the proud owner of the 2 disc edition of Star Trek (2009). Director's (et al) commentary was very good*, as was the gag reel. Much Trek yet to come yet.

(*) None of this "Let's just enjoy this scene... [long pause]... [toilet flush]. Oh this actress was marvellous" crap, although you really need everyone in the same room at the same time.
