Assumptions
Apr. 29th, 2008 05:19 pmWhen we sold our first house to buy this one, the settlement agent assumed we were getting a divorce. House #1 was in both our names, but House #2 is in my name only. She was quite pleased to find that that was not the case. Something of a novelty, even.

What madness is this?
Apr. 29th, 2008 09:53 pmAt some point soon I will have to provide a photo (I presume of me) for the Swancon website. Naturally I've been posing in front of the mirror trying to find my own personal Blue Steel, or at least an angle that reveals my newly-excavated cheekbones (It took Time Team more than 3 days to dig up these babies). Professional lighting should do it (the kind they have at Raves), and the nice people from the Weta Workshops and the witness protection program.
This evening as I contorted before the reflective gods, a new thought crossed my mind, and it was something that made me doubt my very recent recovery from the depression of a bad food trial.
That thought was...( What? WHAT? )
