Received a lovely visit this morning from leecetheartist and rdmasters who came bearing not only their lovely selves, but a bike and helmet for Husband. R tinkered with great efficiency and Husband did a few laps of the cul-de-sac then disappeared around the corner to do a lap of the block. Fortunately he returned. Not bad for 20+ years on terra firma. Car replacement plans have been deferred for the time being.

Masquerade judging

This won't be as detailed as I was planning, but if I don't do it now it won't happen.

If I were Queen: Steph's assessment techniques for masquerade judging. An off-the-cuff list which in practice would be developed with The Powers That Be and in reference to the actual prize categories for that year.

The ties that bind

I've only recently discovered that rice flour is good for external crunch (I am evolving a killer oven chip recipe), but does it bind things like meat patties the same way wheat flour does?
