Up a bit, down a bit, faster, slower

Just returned from my first massage post-V, i.e. starting all over with N.

Hmmmmmm.

First times are rarely spectacular, but I was really REALLY looking forward to and needing this massage. She didn't do anything wrong per se, but quite sensibly given my medical history started conservatively. It just wasn't right :-(

Oh well, time will tell.

It would appear that I (or my Magic Misfortune-Detecting Bank Account(tm)) was responsible for the car accident.

I'd forgotton I wrote this a couple of weeks ago: "Psst. Don't tell the car."

Of course, we also managed to squeeze in two separate cat vet bills in the interim.

I stand by my right to have been a little stressed lately.

Wouldn't notice if I were on fire

I'm not sure I've mentioned it here lately but I really really hate arsonists. Nothing quite says irresponsible and dangerous to innocent bystanders' lives and properties like lighting a fire. Compared to that, shooting someone is nice and tidy and relatively restrained.

So, I was a trifle disturbed to discover that we recently escaped being crispified ourselves.

Jurassic Park

Jurassic Park is 15 years old and I've watched it maybe half a dozen times by now and read the book a few times as well. You know, it stands up pretty well. The surprises have morphed into favourite moments we looked forward to, but some of them were even better than I recall. Best car-chase-in-a-tree scene ever :-)

Ye gods, "Sound track available on CDs and cassettes" just rolled across the screen.
