1. What do you think of curling as a competitive sport?
Whatever floats your boat and keeps suicide at bay in the long dark winter. It's more than pure luck, therefore there's a skill to it, therefore a competition has meaning.

2. When did you last clean your gutters?
I've never personally cleaned a whole houseful. The last time I removed some leaves was two days ago when I cut away an overhanging branch from the garage.

3. Radishes or turnips and why?
Radishes. Tasty, crispy, good for the sinuses, make a green salad worth getting out of bed for. Alas, currently off the menu.

4. What did you eat for breakfast?
Porridge with maple syrup. Water. Various drugs.

5. What's your favourite Beatle?
Paul, if any. I guess he's stayed alive long enough to go through some sensible patches to compensate for the stupid bits. It's a statistical thing.

6. How would you hide your husband's body, if, y'know...?
Encased in a cement block and dropped into any deep sea trench of no interest to any kind of marine scientist, resource company or archaologist. Or fish.

7. Who would you most like to kick in the trousers for being a dick?
George W. Bush. Do I *really* need to explain that choice? Really?

1. What do you think of Camilla on SYTYCD?
She's growing on me, helped by proximity to Sermsah.

2. When did you last buy something frivolous?
Um. Recently.

3. Science or humanities and why?
Yes. All of the above. Because. Given my major in psych (which you can do in either an Arts or a Science degree) and thesis on human-computer interaction I've managed to avoid making that particular choice for some decades now. At school I would have definitely said science.

4. What did you want to be when you grew up?
I have to grow up? Nothing specific, apart from constitutional lawyer or biologist. Maybe meteorologist or geologist. Started Uni with the intention of getting into corporate law. I still haven't figured it out.

5. What's your favourite city?
Perth!

6. How would you spend a perfect day?
With Husband and sunshine, a mini golf course to ourselves, small furry animals frolicking for our amusement, greenery, rocks and flowing water. Unrestricted food would be nice. And a tiger. I need to touch a tiger before I die. Preferably not just before I die.

Either Kylie or Kevin.

My god the alarm on Husband's mobile phone is annoying. It says "IT'S TIME TO GET UP"

2. When did you last see a film (and what was it?)?
Last DVD, The Devil Wears Prada last Monday. Last cinema experience? Possibly Transformers whenever the Swancon screening was last year.

3. Green or purple and why?
Purple, because it's rich and yummy.

4. What did you last say aloud?
To stupid driver: "Hello! Pedestrian crossing!"

5. What's your favourite song?
No idea. Currently very fond of singing along to "Tainted Love". Most romantic song "The Very Thought of You".

6. How would you break the ice?
"Hi. What brings you here?"

7. Who would you most like to control using a television remote?
Apart from my TV which no longer responds to its own remote? Me.
