OMG OMG OMG!
Jul. 3rd, 2008 10:43 pmJust found out that an old friend SJ is pregnant! The late-30s biological clock chimes once again :-)
We've been friends since the early days of getting to know Husband and becoming involved in the comedy circuit (1990ish). One year he even hedged his bets and sent Christmas hampers to both of us as a pre-courtship move. She passed on the opportunity so there were no further romantic complications from that time on.
She's wonderful, wacky, creative, crazy, caring, adventurous, sexy and smart, and will make a great Mum with her husband Beau. (My) Husband has been instructed to *not* teach the child comedy, but that music lessons were acceptible. Perhaps not kindergarten double bass to start, but a ukelele might fit.
All so very exciting! With so many children popping up/out I feel I'm witnessing the birth of a new generation.
