Ah, the serenity or A Visit From Christo

After our visit from Jackson Pollock a couple of weeks ago I'd assumed that the road works in our little cul-de-sac were complete. Not so. Bright and crispy at 7:00AM Saturday the road crew arrived to do their thing.

Now we have Christo out the front, wrapping our neighbourhood in hot tar, with a side order of shaking the house from its foundations.

Large articulated trucks, interesting machinery and a small crowd of supervisory blokes fill the streetscape. The cats cower. Glass shelves rattle. The sun shines for all.
