Due to the spectacular failure of yesterday's predictions by the Cold Hard Facts Of The Future Department, tomorrow's forecast is brought to you by the Pathetic Begging Department.

Tomorrow I will be well.
I will get my brains back.
I will regain fine motor control.
I will stay conscious.
I will be a useful contributing member of society.
My mobility and absence may disappoint my cats, but that shall not deter me.

Funding for the CHFOTFD has been suspended pending the release of a new logo.

New logo? If the Department wants to present an illusion of meaningful finger-on-the-pulse action, surely a new mission statement would demonstrate their pointy-haired initiative more clearly?

But first they must merge with another completely different department, or perhaps decentralise to form regional departments, or just move offices to an outer suburb.
