Another of a disturbing stretch of bad days today, but managed to nibble away at some work.

Nothing to report per se, but I thought it might be worth making a list of posts I've been meaning to write.

* My Wedding Day. A brain dump of everthing I can remember about our big day.

* Steph's Fish Slash. Stories about my surprisingly exciting and personality-laden former (real) fish, including intimate spawning details.

* More Train Stuff. I have yet to describe the foibles of the peak hour disembarkation process at Perth Underground.

* Everyone Forgets Zeppo. The experiences of a quiz contestant's wife and not entirely willing Marx Brothers coach.

* Why Tim Brooke Taylor Wrote To Me Out Of The Blue One Day. Goodie Goodie big surprise. http://stephbg.livejournal.com/79843.html

* Who We Wave To On The TV. A surprising number of former friends and acquaintances are currently appearing on TV. We also wave at other people we just like.

* Life In The Camps. As a child I spent many holiday weeks in camps with other children. Some of these featured horses. That was good. Most of them featured dreadful food, active neglect or minor assaults. That was not so good.

* Some Old Fiction Requests. Should give it another go one day I suppose.

* Oh Please God No. I never did write that review of Traci Harding's Dragon Queens. The presence of this item in the list does not necessarily indicate that I ever will.

* Why "Eye Captain" Is More Than An Awful Optometrist's Pun. OK, it is an awful pun, but it's better than other puns. I apply my amazing analytical abilities to the issue.

* There Once Was A Man From Nantucket. Why I'm opposed to most forms of poetry.

What's on your to-write list?

EDIT: The List Is Growing.

I have had a draft email open in my mail application at home for over a month now, reminding me to rec [livejournal.com profile] craftygoths, thank the two people on my flist I identified as being responsible for it showing up on my friendsfriends view, and pointing at some adorable little handmade bats and zombie bunnies someone was selling there. I think there was also a steam-punk fashion comm somewhere out there as well.

I would like to thank [livejournal.com profile] noctvyn and [livejournal.com profile] cheshirenoir for reccing Einstürzende Neubauten, and bemoan the difficulty of working out how to actually purchase their music.

I want to point out some of the shiny new features for paid lj members, such as comment editing (as long as the comment has not been responded to yet), and viewing your entries filtered by the friends group you locked them to.

There are a few amusing vids I want to link to, including a mathgeek barbershop quartet, and a behind the scenes look at that advertisement with all the paint exploding out of the council flats.

I've yet to review Nights Edge, or to mention going to Sin with [livejournal.com profile] rabbit1080 a few nights ago.

Reviewing Chunky Move's 'Glow' is probably more urgent, as I think that's only got another day or two left to run. A dance production at Rechabite Hall (was meant to be at PICA) where all the illumination comes from a dataprojector reacting to the location of the dancer (I believe they use an infrared camera for that). Very cool.

There's probably more. Of yours, I'm most looking forward to hearing about Tim Brooke Taylor, but they're all of interest.

I had you.. interested? Disturbed? Transformed?

Thanks for the prodding in any case. Glow review now posted. I guess I could just cut and paste the rest of the comment (embellished with a few links, and with [livejournal.com profile] noctvn's name corrected) to cover the rest..

Oh, and I need to cover the juxtaposing my and my mother's experiences at The Wild Fig café on Sunday, complete with a piercing and tattooing poll.
