There goes the neighbourhood

Can't recall if I remembered to record that #2 went up for sale several weeks ago "by owner" and "a sign so subtle it can't be seen from 3 paces away", but they've apparently decided that this wasn't going to work and now have a smack-you-in-the-eye sign from one of the major real estate agents.

Given #4 went on the market last week this makes for two smack-you-in-the-eye For Sale signs at the entrance to our little cul-de-sac.

I'm a very quiet neighbour, keep to myself, and Husband is from the Shallow Grave State. Perhaps the neighbours have figured out what that usually means and are getting out before they find themselves saying it to the news crews.

Or perhaps my giant mutant weed population started to make threats.

Our giant mutant weeds out the front got mowed. Not by us...one day we came home and they were gone so either our tidy neighbours wanted to ensure we don't lower the tone or A's gorgeous and generous Uncle who lives a couple of streets away paid a visit. Still haven't found out.
