Have just tried an electrical stimulation pain device, the idea being you zap yourself where it hurts and endorphins rush in and you feel all better. I rather suspect more finesse is required than suggested by the instructions.
I quite deliberately described it as a pain device rather than a pain-relieving device.
Mixed results. I now feel a bit patchy, and some bits are decidedly more swollen than before. Perhaps if I take it with me into the bath I'll get a better all-over effect.
The device has the rather untrustworthily enthusiastic name of "Pain(r)Gone". Are they trying to claim "Pain" as a registered trademark?
