Pretty tiny rock of the day: Charolite

I was very excited by the potential of charolite when I first took these pictures with the usual camera. So much detail and such beautiful textures had great potential for telling stories. And now I've pointed the microscope at this little rock and found ghostly alien creatures.
A flying creature battles the elements above a wild alien sea:

Bats--or something like them--emerge from a cave in a galaxy far far away:

Ghosts dance in the spaces between worlds:

And this last one? Whatever you want it to be:

The microscope's glaring lights have robbed these images of colour, but I can always tinker :-)
