Rocks that look like other things: cats

Still on the rhyolite, I've found a good opportunity to compare the best that the normal camera can do, versus what the microscope can come up with.
Here's a silhouette that looks like a cat, as taken with the camera at its best. For resolution comparison I resized it to approximately the same as the microscope images below:

And here's what the microscope provided. Not only a view of the outline:
