Desperate for some old fashioned entertainment I have just re-read John Scalzi's excellent Old Man's War. It was just as good the second time around and I look forward to capturing the sequel in my furry little paws.
I am clearly not designed for subtlety so I suspect a recent invitation to join a book club may prove to be an embarrassment all around. I shall investigate.
Today Husband brought home a copy of Gone With The Wind, which I've been wanting to read for some time and have had surprising difficulty in locating. Now that was a film where more happened than in The Age of Innocence so perhaps my tiny attention span will cope rather better, even though it's a couple of inches thick.
I've been planning a post on my uneasy relationship with poetry, but that will require more brain cells than I currently have available (and Mythbusters is about to start - I have my priorities).
Tomorrow I'll be better prepared for the long haul, for I must get to the office somehow.
