A Japanese restaurant has opened at my local shops. I cannot begin to express how happy this makes me.

Japanese food is not very beige, but if I'm selective and restrained I'll be OK. One day soon I may apologise to the pork!

Japanese, fresh, light, sustainable and usually beautifully presented food. Sushi for lunch is an absolute bargain in Melbourne, at about 2.50@roll.
