If the following questions make absolutely no sense to you, by all means look away, move on, and forget it ever happened.

Did I blink (don't blink) and miss the point at which The Worst Doctor Who Episode Ever Doctor's Daughter got explained away, or is she still floating out there in the re-big-banged NWs6 universe?

Speaking of blinking, is it co-incidence or (gasp) Moffat laziness that we're getting another dose of look-away-for-a-moment-and-you're-doomed aliens?

If you do understand these questions, please forgive me for not keeping up with the relevant Whovian discussion boards. My fandom falls into an uncomfortable middle area between caring and less than full immersion.

As far as I'm aware, the Doctor's daughter is still out there, somewhere.

Villains are kind of the same, but also frightening in very different ways.

The Doctor's pseudo-daughter/clone Jenny is still out there somewhere, presumably. Fingers crossed we never see or hear from her again.

I think the Silents are quite inventive, similar to the Weeping Angels but at the same time pretty different. It's a monster that could be behind you all the time and you'd never remember - that's pretty scary for kids IMO.

Well, the Weeping Angels aren't entirely original either, if you consider the Autons. They were statue-type things in every day life, except when they moved, they shot the ever-loving shit out of you.
