Following in Princess' delicate paw prints I have developed an all-over itch/burn thingie which has become impossible to endure without doing myself some damage at multiple points. This has gone way beyond a single bad food choice and has been building for nearly a week. Such things are nerve-driven and self-perpetuating so I have reluctantly taken the measure of a 1/4 of a pill of Diazepam (Valium).

I don't like this drug. I *really* don't. I'm pretty sure it was responsible for driving me into the worse clinical depression I have ever experienced. The fact that I consider it to be my best strategy now is a little disturbing.

Urgh, I need to find smoother clothes. And smoother air. The world is a rough and scratchy place today.

Oh boy, do I hear you on the itchy stuff. Hoping for some calming.

Would an oat bath help? You put some oats in a cloth and hang in the bath, letting it dissolve into the water. When cool you soak. It can be soothing.

Plus, the BEST thing I have ever found for skin rashes is a swim in the salt water. Cuts the itching and inflammation and clears everything out. Not sure if this is practical for you, but wanted to let you know.

Ice of curse too.

Is it pityriasis rosea? You described what could have been a herald patch some days ago.

I don't think so. I've spots where I've scratched blisters but no more patches of rash.
