stephbgHaving done far less shopping about than I should have, today I assembled a laptop at Dell and am now awaiting delivery. It's actually the first time I've ever bought a computer new. In the design phase it's very tempting to upscale everything but fortunately there's a running total of the cost on the bottom of the page.
Now I need to get my wireless modem - ebay looks tempting - and a bigpond account and then all I have to do is go through the joy of changing my e-mail address everywhere. I've had it for many years so it will take a while to filter through. I'll have to maintain my iinet account for at least a year so I can catch everything.
I'm too sleepy to feel bouncy, but it will be exciting to finally have that argument-settling google access right there in the loungeroom :-)
Swam a km yesterday for the first time in about a week and managed 25m underwater. Swimming forces my ribs to expand so I'm sure it's good for me. Had a lane to myself which was nice.
