Space and time

stephbgTwo events in space and time will collide tomorrow, of that I am sure. Whether they collide in this particular universe is another question, but somewhere Destiny is rubbing its hands together. Well, probably not Destiny; this is pretty small potatoes. Maybe Destiny's Minion's Work Experience Kid is rubbing its hands together.
Event 1: The delivery (and thus exposure to the elements) of a fragile LCD screen component for my laptop.
Event 2: The first proper thunderstorm we've had in months, at the end of a 42C day.
I'm not actually sure about the thunderstorm; I've been huddling in aircon almost all day and have not exposed my Spidy senses to nature. But if we're getting the thunderstorm, I'm sure as hell getting that delivery right in the middle of it.
