Horse head sculpture progress report N

There's nothing quite like saying to myself "Ah, I'm sick of all this fiddling about. I'll call it done" to inspire a session of fiddling about. But I think I've gone about as far as I can go with my horse head in plasticine at this scale, so I'm calling it done. The fact that today is December 31 is quite irrelevant afaict.
It's at times like these I wish I was a better photographer, or at least could be bothered to read up on white balance. Anywho, for reference once again (and to remind myself it does look better now than it did after one session), the initial vaguely horselike lump:
Somewhere in the middle:

And today it's kinda sorta done (until I feel the urge to tweak it again, or just smooth that bit, and maybe that bit...):

Now all I have to do is find a home for it. Time for more engineering!
