Progress I can haz it

I did something very important today. I contacted my main client and asked if it would be convenient for me to come into the office on Tuesday to start planning the restart of my project. He said yes, with some enthusiasm.
Monday is Husband's birthday and he has the day off, so I thought I'd keep that day for us (I'm hoping for mini-golf). On Friday week, I start therapy to explore why I don't feel able to work LOL. The trick appears to be giving myself time and permission to get up to speed again and update my plans, rather than trying to jump right back in and finish editing the chapter that's been haunting me for months. It will just have to wait.
This didn't happen out of a stubborn desire to work again; I actually feel up to it this time and feel confident that I'll feel the same next week. I've found myself thinking about several projects at once, and I made a good start on my practice documentation project of writing up my version of the Swancon Art Show Guide. It's long enough ago that I have to research rather than just come up with stuff out of my head, and that's the skill I felt I'd lost.
I've also suspended two of my supplements because the preservative load was too great (nauseating headache and breathing difficulties ick). Since one of those was the Vitamin D I'm not too concerned, for I'm getting plenty of sun on my hands and face at least. I'm still quite surprised that I haven't burned, although my neck's felt a bit warm in the evenings. I normally barbeque like a vampire at the first hint of sun.
I'm still waiting for delivery of an allegedly preservative-free Coenzyme Q10, which I think is worth pursuing as a supplement.
Today I scaled the dizzying heights of a medium level Sudoko. Slowly and calmly, that's the trick for me. It was also a confidence booster and a breakthrough that I gave myself the time to do it, and caught several errors before they became untraceable. I win at DIY therapy. Mostly :-)
Did laundry, cleared (in as far as it's possible) a big clump of cooch grass, contemplated mulch, removed fur from carpet, removed fur from cats, printed something for my tax appointment tomorrow, experimented mentally with sculpture engineering whilst nudging the work area towards readiness, shuffled things around the kitchen, did a small grocery shop, and checked the letterbox several times in the course of the day (the inevitable result of internet shopping). Also managed to stand up, remember my name, and lift several glasses of water. Awesome.
I'm having a bit of trouble with temperature regulation, and have a couple of annoying ulcers, but apart from that the body's giving me a bit of a break from the usual OMG SOMETHING'S WRONG WRONG WRONG background noise.
Note to self: you kids have fun, but don't overdo it.
