Very stiff and sore today, and largely unconscious, but Husband dutifully hung around the house on his day off to keep me company. He did laundry, wrote jazz trio arrangements and fell asleep watching more silent WWI flying movies. It was great. Did get out in the late afternoon to watch the stormy ocean for a bit, just to the local Sorrento today, and it was quite easy to get a parking spot overlooking the beach. Hillaries had 822 parking spaces free (I counted), but that still meant quite a few vehicles around. Must have been mostly staff, for it was icky.
Not even the surfers were out today; the Westerlies were pushing the waves flat. No walkers, kite surfers, kayakers, drug dealers or dog walkers either, and the only seagull I saw was going backwards. There were some larger birds out fishing, presumably. They were, um, brown, maybe? Odd behaviour: flapping quite vigorously at low altitude over the waves. Looked terribly inefficient.
Wow, so can't compose sentences tonight. Deal.
Stepped out of the car briefly to catch a proper lungful of sea air, and nearly got blown over. The car was rocking in the wind and I think I started to get a bit seasick. Offshore break was huge, no wonder it's the shipwreck coast.
My head hurts.
