Psycho Cat redux

stephbgSomething frightened Cally today, so she's been very agressive and actually attacked a few times. The neighbour's dog was on our driveway for a while this afternoon and might have spooked her through the window. Not the giant german shepherd Troy, but the seriously disturbed maltese cross "tiny doggie" Molly.
Molly is a serial escape artist, and it's a wonder she's ever recaptured, for the chosen method of attracting her back to home and family is to shout and growl her name. Which terrifies her and makes her want to run. When she does come back/is captured, she's scolded.
I managed to work off some of Cally's spare energy by dragging a mouse toy around the place, but she was then determined to sit on my lap. She did not understand or appreciate my frequent trips to the bathroom, so remained grumpy. She's back to running around and destroying things.
