It's easy to find new and exciting ways to break the beige diet. Earlier this week I snapped and ate... a whole raw carrot. The very next day I put a finely chopped banana in my usual porridge of rolled oats, water, maple syrup, crushed raw cashews and flaxseed.

Holy cow but it was yummy. So I did it again, but fortunately Husband saved me from myself by finishing off the bananas. I must have been carried away by the whiff of nutrition. I'm trying to sneak some stewed apple in my porridge--which worked quite well--but I definitely can't take the salicylates every day. Sigh. An apple a day will make my doctor's job pay :-(
