Cally update

Took Cally to the vet Disneyland this morning, with bright promises of stitches out and bucket removal. Husband did the driving as I was not up to spec (on the bright side, pain relief). Unfortunately there had been a mis-communication: today was just a progress check, and her stitches must stay in for another 1-2 weeks. The bucket must remain on for another week at least. This is not good news. However, she is healing well thus far and for her age.

A depressed cat is very depressing.

Awww poor Cally. Bella sends her love. I was worried Bella may need a bucket but she seems to be pretty good and doesn't worry the wound on her tail any more than she'd spend time just washing that part of her tail anyway.

And today she FINALLY used her litter tray and I've found I can grind up her antibiotics into her food and she eats it no complaints. She doesn't like me dabbing saltwater on her tail though - but I think that's mainly a "WTF are you putting water on me?" kind of thing.
