Commentary from high school reports now. Analysis to follow, but I find the mostly bland and sunny picture thus portrayed alarmingly different from my recall of my internal life at the time. I was definitely happiest in the classroom, but my competitive nature insists I was much more messed up than the average teenager in every other way. As always, errors provide the most interesting data points. I don't remember screwing up *that* badly in Maths (except at one particular point in Year 11; anecdote no doubt to follow).

At first glance the difference in reporting style between primary and high schools is also quite interesting. Different logistical problems for the poor old teachers. I wonder if I actually stopped talking in class or did it became a non-issue? I suspect the former, but I doubt any behavioural issues I could manifest could compete with those of teenage boys. (My primary years 4-7 were girls-only.)
