Speaking of pandemics

Did we avoid the Swancon flu this year? I haven't noticed an increase in reporting of the usual cold-like symptoms.

By the Monday morning I had a sinus infection which needed two courses of antibiotics to kill it, but I'm good at that sort of thing ;) There might have been a virus going around as well, giving moral support to their big brothers the bacteria.

Dodged. But we took Precautions*.

(* i.e. targeted vitamin/mineral/herbal supplements before and during. Seemed to do the trick. Of course it could also just be a placebo effect, but, let's face it - whatever works.)

I got it and had to suffer the brunt of it for several days as I thought I couldn't take cold and flu tablets.
