I have entered the next level

Today's experiment in modern living was a success! I have officially turned a corner.
The morning was a bit difficult but not surprising considering what I got done yesterday, but I made it to the office just after 10 and put in a solid two hours of properly brainy and productive work. I had to come to a fairly sudden stop, but I think it was in time to avoid a collapse in the middle of the freeway. Embarrassing, those.
After a bit of a rest I actually started assembling a masquerade costume for Swancon, which I'd long since written off as a lost cause. I'm recycling bits from different years to make something new, although I'll need to do a bit of hand sewing to patch the oldest parts. It's such a nice feeling to be able to even think about it.
I even booked myself in for a hair trim and colour. It's time to frighten the horses!
Have been keeping up with Swancon duties, and shouldn't have much trouble in fine tuning my abstract for the risk management conference by their deadline. Not quite ready to tackle home maintenance or serious housework yet, but am very pleased at the decluttering and gardening we managed to get done before the council pickup.
Parts of me hurt quite badly, but a lot of the time I can ignore it. Looking forward to the ultrasound on Thursday week.
