And happy 18th anniversary of my official relationship status. On this day 18 years ago Husband and I officially became engaged. The actual be-ringment was not spectacularly romantic per se, for it was a negotiated event rather than any form of spontaneous question-poppery, but I remember it fondly.
That was the night I changed my gear-changing technique so the ring wouldn't click on the gearstick and slowly tranfer all the gold to my car.
