The sound of one name dropping

stephbgLondon-Based Sister has a film critic friend. Said friend needed a suitably glamorous friend to accompany him to the London film critics circle awards. LBS fit the bill so she got to wait in a queue next to Kristin Scott Thomas, and sit at the table next to Dame Judi Dench:
OK, that would be two names dropping :-) She (LBS) won a weekend in Paris in the raffle and memberships to the British Film Institute. Somewhat embarrassed by her excessive winnings she gave the latter away.
