The old scourge of regions

I'm sorely tempted to buy a BBC series called Mind, Body, and Kickass Moves* on DVD, but thus far have only located Region 2 versions. I have enough of a sneaking suspicion that my player won't play it that I'm not willing to cough up the few pounds plus postage. We can play No/All Region DVDs, but I'm sure I've seen our machine spit out something it didn't like.
What I need to do is trawl through the shelves and see if we have a Region 2-only disc for testing *looks at massive collection and sighs*. Perhaps our sole surviving and rapidly shrinking local video library has one.
And yes, I shouldn't be shopping for anything right now, I know. But it will make me happy, because I only saw about half the episodes on TV and I loved them to bits.
(*) Repackaged for US consumption as Mind, Body, and Kickin' Moves because "kickass" is Just Wrong. Apparently.
