A bit sleepy, slow, and puffy this morning--too much fruit I suspect--but got in a few hours of paid work before tackling the list of errands de jour.
Why this came to include buying Dr Who and David Attenborough DVDs I do not know, but I have also processed all my outstanding medical claims, and eliminated a few more possibilities for DustBuster replacement filter sourcing. I must remember that actually getting to a major shopping centre is an achievement all its own, worth many spoons.
Found an alarmingly cheap and insubstantial plastic hose fitting for
emma_in_oz. At $2.90 I reckoned it was worth the purchase risk.
This afternoon I have calls to make, and a letter to post. And a hose to cut.
I can now imagine a day when I will face up to the embarrassment of a long-abandoned yet fully paid-up gym membership and get back in the pool for "proper" exercise. RSN :-)
But I think a nap is in order.
EDIT: And on the other side of the nap... there's more!
* Booked the gutter cleaner.
* Sent messages to the roof plumber
* Booked a car service
* Posted a letter
* Cut and cleaned a length of hose.
* Wrote up two panel descriptions.
* Drilled a hole/hung a picture.
* Discovered DustBuster love (of the effortless cleaning variety). So much easier than hauling a vacuum cleaner around and struggling with power cords and points. Watch out cat fur!
