Afternoon Chi, anyone?

I'm beginning to have suspicions that the universe is trying to tell me something.
Tonight I watched Mind, Body, and Kick Ass Moves on ABC2, a series about martial arts with tonight's episode concentrating on Chi (or Qi or Ki - I am happy to take advice on that). It's the second time in as many days I was reminded of my relatively brief training in Chow Gar (and a sprinkling of Tai Chi) and felt its loss.
But tonight I realised that I have been effectively focusing Chi in my hands for decades of human and animal handling. I also remembered that the main purpose of my Balance tattoo is to remind me to use my hands and be physical, as well as exercise my mind. While I enjoy blog writing as an excerise in fast typing (far faster than my mind!), I think it's time I got my hands back in to the fray.
This time, however, I'd like to try with someone new (as opposed to my relatives who already get their fair share). So, who wants to volunteer themselves (or a sick friend) for a scalp massage/TLC to test the theory that I have Chi in my fingertips?
ETA: I should mention that I crack my knuckles. And indeed everything that can crack, I crack. Some find this disturbing.

Date: 2009-01-12 02:52 pm (UTC)I've done Tai Chi and Qi Gong (sp?), and had energy work via massage, so I remember the sensations pretty well.
Available before/after next Swancon meeting? *grins*
