Hey, it's me!

20 minutes into tonight's episode of House, the desperate chronically ill guy with the gun is... me! Right down to the post chicken pox/neuralgia and hypersensitive hearing. He needs to go beige.
ETA: 45 minutes in: It's not a tooma. I bet it's preservatives and tomatoes. And mint, oranges, curry, bacon etc etc etc. And let's not forget soup.
Perhaps now would be a time to ask my fellow chronic sickly friends if you've ever had House diagnosis fantasies? A team of dedicated brains and a whiteboard, just for you?

Date: 2008-11-26 02:18 pm (UTC)He'd probably just send me for an MRI, misdiagnose me for 35 minutes and then miraculously find the diagnosis in the final five.

Date: 2008-11-28 12:38 am (UTC)I forgot to add my point: I got the House treatment to some extent. LOTS of random tests (including an MRI AND a catscan. Radioactive iodine feels funny) And despite the fact that, coma aside, I have a bunch of other health problems, they found nothing wrong with me :/ I do have the fantasy of a doctor going "Here! Take this pill once and you will be 100% healthy forever!" (and being right :D)
