And now for the weather

I really enjoyed the tropical balmy warmth this afternoon, but following so closely behind the coldest blue September day ever, which in turn was preceeded by 100kmh winds and lashing rain... well. It's been a bit of a trip. I can't help but wonder if my wobbliness on the weekend was due in part to the Magic Rain-Detecting Bodyparts(tm) going apesh#t in anticipation. I was definitely popping my ears on Sunday when I believe the barometric pressure dropped by 10 in as many hours.

I have a theory. Are there any Melbournites in Perth ATM? Someone bringing the weather with them and giving us a taste of four seasons in one day?

We just had the biggest storm ever seen in Alice Springs - winds around 130kph, trees down and so forth. I thought it seemed a lot like a Perth storm...
