NewWho: Midnight

How is it that the same series that brings us "The Doctor's Daughter" is also capable of "Midnight"?



I was so impressed with this episode (apart from the lack of Donna content). The lifeboat horror script stood up so beautifully without the need for monsters or explosions. I was also very impressed with the actors' work.

Don't get me wrong, I like monsters and explosions. Perhaps a little too much.

I'm beginning to suspect that while RTD is a great writer who has attracted many great writers, that has generally masked his deficiencies as show-runner/script editor.
