No pandas or dragons (although I'll grant you I've not seen the first half hour yet) but this gem of translation from one of the endless "pop songs":

We've seen the Chinese Hi-5. I wonder if we'll get the Chinese Wiggles. There's the Red Wiggle, and the Red Wiggle, and the Red Wiggle, and another Red Wiggle. And Comrade Panda-sword.

Wasn't there an old tradition of tying reed whistles to pigeons legs and letting them fly. Of course I only remember that from a Barry Hughart novel so could be total fiction.

I could hear the commentators mention him and I was like, "where?" Of course I looking for a head of black, curly locks. Hrm, must remember it is no longer 1973.
