One down, one to go

Have duely delivered the first of twin talks to the ACS this evening.
Details are likely to trickle up from memory over the next couple of days, but initial impressions were that it went reasonably well. A few technical hitches, and my legs cramped, but there were a lot of interesting questions at the end, and that's usually the standard by which these things are judged.
The best bit was I believe I may have actually educated people. More than one project manager type said to me afterwards they normally tack on "write manual" at the very end of a project, but would consider thinking about it sooner. Yay!
I also learned a bit more about public speaking. Baby steps :-)
