Star Trek: The Motion Picture (1979)

So, we did it: watched all ST:TOS and special features provided with the DVD set. The Season 3 doccos were almost as depressing as some of the episodes. Tonight we started on the movie franchise. Thank god for low expectations.

Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan

That's more like it! ST II looked and felt much more like a ST movie than a desperate overfunded scriptless mishmash of shots. Shatner still reasonably trim, but the wig now has a perm that is quite terrifying. No Space Bikinis* :-( but it was fun.
