Choices choices

Husband is off to a gig tonight straight from work, so it's Prison to Pub for him. The Publican, to be precise, somewhere on Albany Highway. He's singing too so I was hoping to catch the gig, but it's a big night in for this weak little kitten.

So, with only myself to please, what will it be? Gory (Dexter) or girly (Music and Lyrics)? Science (David Attenborough) or smashing (Transformers)? All I have to do is get up and walk to the DVD shelves, then swing on by the TV on-button. Piece of cake. Give me a minute, OK?

Lightbulb moment

I need more fairy lights in my life.

More fiery death *sigh*

Earlier this evening I got all adventurous and tried to oven-roast some chickpeas. Although the recipe called for up to an hour in the oven I took a peek after about 10 minutes. In my smoke-filled kitchen with frightening orange light in the oven. Eeek.

ETA: Now with added image, because last night all the camera batteries were flat.
