Feb. 6th, 2009 01:54 pmI have now come to the conclusion that the guilt-trip-to-the-gym swim last Saturday was a Very Bad Idea, and it by itself (or as the last straw) has triggered a fibro attack of the exercise recovery failure variety. Looking at 8-14 days usually (I've not yet found anything food or behavioural to shorten an attack), so I could have a week more of this to enjoy. Every muscle fibre is of the impression that it's just worked its little cotton socks off and is not ready for another round. Rinse and repeat.
However, I do have a massage in a couple of hours, and that has been known to make an improvement.
