Greetings all
In an effort to demystify the process of awarding prizes at the Swancon Masquerade, the Contact: Swancon 2009 committee presents for your review and comment a set of draft Masquerade Judging Guidelines. After a public consulation process (you're looking at it), these will be published on the Swancon website, and supplied to the judges so we're all on the same page.

We decided that it was too much bother to try to find a suitable video camera just before we left, and it's a purchase that should be fun. Or something. Instead we decided that some silent footage with our current digital camera would have to do, but we'd get a new SD card to dedicate to the tigers*. It needn't be the full 15 minutes; we just want to record the bit where I overstretch the bounds of friendship with a well-handled but ultimately wild large predator and lose my head.
