OMG what have I done
Mar. 17th, 2008 04:18 pmI sit here under several layers of pins, plastic and (old) towelling, stewing in an fairly small amount of purple hair dye in just one streak. I've been trying to figure out when I could fit this task in, and this afternoon, after a poorly scheduled Bad Day I thought "Why not right now?". The decision helped by discovering I was not required for a certain corporate session tomorrow, but hindered by a pending decision to attend a funeral on Thursday morning.
So here we are, wondering if the stuff will (a) stay in my hair, and (b) come off the rest of the house. Oh and (c) look deeply ridiculous.
Previous experience would suggest that no-one will be able to tell the difference.
ETA: ( Part II )

iinet misbehaving
Mar. 17th, 2008 05:13 pmAnyone else having trouble with the iinet mail server today?
ETA I'll take that as a yes - I just called support and was told there would be a 30 minute wait. ETA2: And the web site says the average wait is currently 47 minutes. I did find a fault report that says the e-mail backlog should be cleared by 5:00PM. Yep.
BTW It's a pop server timeout error. I've been getting delays on normal e-mail of up to a couple of hours, and a bunch of lj stuff has not arrived at all after posting several hours ago (which could just be lj falling over).
